My recent stay at Hungry Trout Resort over Easter was truly delightful. the location nestled between Lake Placid and Whiteface Mountain offered breathtaking views of the mountains. the convenient proximity to hiking trails along the famous Au Sable River provided endless exploration opportunities. the resort's cleanliness and spacious rooms made for a comfortable and cozy retreat. the soft and comfy bed ensured a restful night's sleep after a day of outdoor adventures. the helpful housekeeping staff went above and beyond to assist with any inquiries, showcasing their dedication to guest satisfaction. One of the highlights was the on-site restaurant offering a delectable menu featuring fresh trout and seafood, venison, quail, and other savory dishes with a unique Adirondack flair. the option to dine at the Adirondack Bar and Grill provided the perfect ending to a day filled with outdoor activities. the thought of trying out ice fishing in the winter piqued my interest for a future visit. Overall, Hungry Trout Resort's full-service amenities, stunning views, and access to outdoor adventures make it a must-visit destination for travelers seeking a quiet and comfortable retreat in the heart of the Adirondacks. Whether enjoying the secluded landscapes as a solo traveler or embarking on outdoor excursions with companions, this resort provides the perfect setting to unwind and reconnect with nature.
